Organize Your Home's Decor
Measuring 8.5" by 8.5", The Decorator's Journal is a hardcover book made up of three sections - Interior, Exterior and Resources - each designed to help organize every decorating detail of your home.
Building details like materials and paint/stain choices, as well as furniture information and favorite plants can be found in the Exterior section. There is also space to sketch your landscaping layout and a zip-lock pouch to store paint/stain chips, siding/stucco samples, fabric swatches, flower/bush/tree tags and magazine clippings. Including photos of gardens, planter boxes, stonework, furniture and accessories is also useful.

The Resources section contains helpful Imperial/Metric conversion charts for length and area, as well as lots of space to record favorite stores and websites.

A 1.25"; diameter wire-o binding allows The Decorator's Journal to lay flat and ensures ample room for expansion once samples are included. In addition, a wrap around elastic neatly closes the journal and helps secure its contents.

The Interior section includes three pages to sketch your home's overall floorplans plus ten double-page spreads to record all the specifics for each room. These details include paint/wallcovering information, window and furniture sizes, flooring types and a place to have sketches of every room and note their dimensions. Ten zip-lock style pouches are also included. Use these to store such things as paint chips, carpet/flooring samples, fabric swatches, wallcovering samples and magazine clippings. You can also include photos of each room, furniture, artwork and accessories.
